Job Description

As a teacher of mathematics and/or science and technology at Palmbladsskolan, you will teach grades 6-9. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in your subject in accordance with the curriculum and other governing documents. You are also a mentor for a class together with a colleague. You are part of a working team and subject team and participate in the school's overall work. We strive for collegial learning where you, in close collaboration with your colleagues, develop the operations. Together, we work to ensure that all students thrive and develop based on their individual conditions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with qualifications to teach mathematics, science, and technology in grades 6-9. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and the primary school curriculum. The position requires good oral and written skills in Swedish. IT skills with a focus on educational work are an advantage.

The job suits you if you easily adapt to and see opportunities with new ideas, methods, and working practices. You are proactive in your work and do not hesitate to implement change. As a person, you communicate clearly and ensure that the message gets through. You clarify expectations and follow up continuously. You build good relationships with both students and colleagues through attentive and respectful interaction. You take the time to listen and handle challenges and conflicts with confidence.
