Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences

The Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences is an interdisciplinary environment where 10 research areas work to contribute to better medicines and a healthier world.

With laboratories in the heart of Uppsala Biomedical Center and Sweden's only Faculty of Pharmacy, we are a vital engine in the development of education and research in pharmaceutical sciences. Responsibilities

Teaching, primarily in the form of laboratory supervision in the pharmacy and pharmaceutical programs, as well as some administration.

Qualifications

Eligible for employment as a university lecturer is one who has demonstrated pedagogical skills or other professional skills that are significant in relation to the subject matter of the employment and the tasks to be included in the employment (Chapter 4, Section 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance).

According to the Employment Regulations for Uppsala University here (https://www.regler.uu.se/dokument/?contentId=92570), eligible for employment as a university lecturer is one who has completed a degree from a relevant higher education program. Furthermore, as a general eligibility requirement for teachers, it is required to have the personal qualities necessary to perform the employment well, such as being self-motivated, flexible, and having good collaborative skills. The work requires good administrative skills.

A basic degree in pharmacy. Documented ability to teach in Swedish. Experience in teaching galenic pharmacy and experience in teaching extemporaneous preparation of medicines.

About the Employment

The employment is temporary, until 2026-05-29. The extent is part-time, 25%.
