About the Job

We are looking for a driven individual to assist with a scientific review and further development of biodiversity criteria related to food. The work involves analyzing existing methods for assessing biodiversity at the product level, applying these to key food items, and compiling knowledge on differences between various production forms. You will also participate in scientific publishing, dialogue with researchers, and collaboration with stakeholders in the food sector to ensure that the criteria are both research-based and practically applicable.

Your Background

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental system analysis, sustainable development, or similar
• Experience in independent analytical work
• Strong quantitative analytical skills
• Experience working with complex systems
• Excellent ability to express yourself in English, both orally and in writing

Desirable:

• Experience in scientific work, such as a research assistant or involvement in scientific publications
• Interdisciplinary experience and familiarity with working in projects across multiple sectors
• Strong system understanding and a pronounced interest in sustainable food systems

About Us

At the Department of Energy and Technology, we conduct research and education focused on how agriculture can contribute to a sustainable society. We have extensive expertise in technology and systems for food production and bioenergy. In the methodological area, we have significant competence in System Analysis including Environmental System Analysis and LCA, as well as Biometry (statistics and mathematics) with applications in biological systems.
