Within commissioned education, Folkuniversitetet works with language education, linguistic mapping, and language testing for companies and the public sector, often focusing on the linguistic demands and professional roles of the workplace.

About the assignment

Folkuniversitetet is now looking for test leaders and teachers in Swedish as a second language (SvA) for our growing operations within commissioned education for companies and the public sector, with a particular focus on language testing and linguistic competence development.

The assignments include language testing and linguistic assessment according to CEFR/GERS as well as teaching and language support related to work life and professional requirements within companies and the public sector.

The work is flexible and can be performed on an hourly basis or part-time, depending on the assignment and availability.

Responsibilities

Depending on the nature of the assignment, the tasks may include:

• conducting language tests according to CEFR/GERS
• test management during testing events on-site at the client
• assessment of oral and written language skills
• teaching Swedish or Swedish as a second language within commissioned education
• linguistic mapping and level assessment
• collaboration with colleagues on planning, implementation, and follow-up

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• education in Swedish, Swedish as a second language, or equivalent language pedagogical competence
• experience in teaching, linguistic assessment, or working with adult second language learners
• good pedagogical skills and confidence in meeting participants

Meritorious:

• experience in language testing or level assessment
• familiarity with CEFR/GERS
• experience in vocational Swedish or commissioned education
• experience working in healthcare or other professional fields
