Prästängsskolan is the secondary school located in central Eksjö, where the auditorium, student cafeteria, and school library form the entrance and focal point. The school environment is built on the guiding principles of safety, permissiveness, encouragement, developmental mindset, and collaboration. The relational work is therefore in focus. Our collective effort for the students' best interest characterizes the work at the school. All students experience participation in their learning as they are formatively taught by professional teachers to achieve all the goals of the curriculum. The parallel arrangement of subjects allows for flexibility in teaching, which is adapted to the students' varying knowledge and experiences. To ensure all students succeed, we work with collegial learning in teams, subject groups, and at the school level. The school's student health team is a valuable resource at all levels. Testing new methods based on scientific evidence and proven experience, and evaluating their impact on students' learning, is seen as a crucial success factor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged teacher with curiosity and a desire to improve together with others. You are a clear leader who builds trusting relationships. You will be part of the collaborative teaching team at the school. Based on the collective planning, you will design the teaching together with the students in your groups. The formative approach is something we collectively focus on developing at the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree and a teaching license.

Experience in similar work is advantageous. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who values building relationships, enjoys collaborating, and has the ability to maintain structure in their work.
