JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ingatorpsskolan is a small school in the eastern part of the municipality, beautifully situated on the heights of the countryside, with nearly 100 students from preschool to grade 6, as well as an after-school program where about half of the students are enrolled. The school is located approximately 30 km from Eksjö and 10 km from Mariannelund.

At our small school, we work together, and everyone's contribution is important. The safety of knowing each other is a success factor, and we collaborate across class boundaries in activities such as recess activities and buddy classes to strengthen our core values work. We have a strong and competent student health team, including a counselor, special education teacher, and special educator, who support teachers and students in their daily work with knowledge acquisition, attendance, and well-being. The school also has two lead teachers who drive the school's collective professional development. The focus is on developing teaching by making students more involved. Cooperative structures, observations, and AI have been the methods used to achieve this during the school year and are likely to continue as we have seen benefits and successes with these approaches.

If you apply for a position with us, you will be a class teacher in one of our lower primary classes. The classes are small, with a student count of between 11-16 students. In some classes, you will work alongside another primary teacher for grades F-3 and/or a teacher from the after-school program.

Your responsibilities include independently and collaboratively planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work in the student group according to the curriculum and the school's core values work. At the school, we actively work to ensure a secure school day and to maintain high attendance and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should be a licensed primary teacher for grades F-3.

We are looking for someone who is relational and has an easy time building relationships with both students and colleagues. In your work, you focus on the students' knowledge development.

You are responsible, structured, and quality-conscious. You have a positive attitude, good collaborative skills, and communicate from a solution-focused perspective in every meeting with colleagues, students, and guardians.
