Umeå Ekonomi & Affärsrådgivning is looking for an accounting consultant and is open to various levels of experience – from those who are confident in the entire accounting process to those with a few years of experience looking to take the next step.

We are a small, family-oriented accounting firm in Umeå that is growing, with a clear ambition:

to continue being a personal agency where every client feels seen, secure, and well taken care of.

As our business grows, we are moving to larger premises and need more employees.

About the role

As an accounting consultant with us, you will work with the overall needs of your clients. The role is tailored to your experience and confidence but may include:

• Ongoing accounting
• Year-end closing and declarations
• Direct client contact and meetings
• Being a support and sounding board in clients' businesses
• Collaboration in a small team where we help and support each other
• For those who wish, there is an opportunity to gradually develop in advisory and business development, in line with your own ambitions.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with education and practical experience in accounting who enjoys a role where both relationships and quality are important.

We believe you:

• Have relevant education in economics/accounting
• Have a few years of experience in accounting work, preferably from a firm
• Are confident in working independently with accounting, to varying degrees depending on experience
• Enjoy client contact and building long-term relationships
• Are solution-oriented, responsible, and structured
• Have excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as the role involves close client dialogue, meetings, and working with Swedish legislation
• Have experience with Fortnox or similar systems.
