JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you one of those who wish to have a meaningful, varied, and fun job working with children? Then the role of a substitute teacher in preschool and school might be something for you!

As a substitute teacher, you will help create enjoyable, educational, and safe environments for all children and students. You will gain knowledge and experience from the various operations of the school administration, which can provide a good foundation for those considering further studies in the field.

Working as a substitute teacher means that you can come and work at one of our preschools and schools on short or long assignments at short notice. This can be combined with studies or other activities.

You choose which days and times you want to be available for work. Through the booking tool Time Care Pool, you will be booked for work via SMS. To ensure continuity in our operations, we see that you can work at least three days a week. Working hours vary but range between 06:30 and 18:00. You will never work more than 8 hours per day.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a substitute teacher in schools and preschools with us, you need to:

• A valid criminal record check!
• Be able to understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Basic computer skills
• Approved high school diploma
• Be at least 18 years old

It is an advantage if you are educated or studying to become a childcare worker, teacher, preschool teacher, or educator in leisure activities. Experience in the field is also an asset.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to others in order to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your own and shared work tasks with the users' best interests in focus.
