At the same time, the army staff leads units both nationally and internationally. The army staff develops and production manages the army's war units and subordinate organizational units consisting of units and schools.

The above, combined with the continued establishment of the army staff as a cohesive and unifying force, makes the tasks very varied, developing, and dynamic. About the position

You will belong to the production planning department, which is part of the planning unit at the Army Staff. The production planning department consists of several functional areas (sections) with their own specialist areas, while all participate in the entire breadth of tasks for the army's production. The department and its work offer great opportunities for development and to gain deeper knowledge in managing a large and complex organization.

Recruiting unit

The production planning department leads and coordinates the production of the army's war units linked to capability-creating factors such as economy, personnel, infrastructure, as well as exercises and training. About twenty employees, both officers and civilian employees with expertise, work in the department including the sections.

Main tasks

As an administrator in the Army Staff's production planning department, you will have a central role in the daily operations. You are a support to the department and help create structure in everyday life. You are responsible for handling administrative tasks such as document management, bookings, record-keeping, and internal communication.

The work takes place both within the Army Staff as well as in contact with other units within the Armed Forces, other authorities, and organizations.

Qualification requirements

  • Completed and approved secondary education
  • Experience working as an administrator, executive assistant, or similar tasks
  • Very good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Very good skills in expressing yourself verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English
  • Driver's license for manual transmission

Desirable/meritorious

  • Previous work experience within the Armed Forces or another authority
  • Experience/knowledge of the Armed Forces' various support systems, e.g., PRIO and VIDAR
  • Experience in managing meetings and conferences

Personal qualities

We are looking for a structured, service-oriented, and attentive person who is a good team player with experience collaborating with others but also has the ability to work independently and in a structured manner. You easily absorb new knowledge and have the ability to solve complex tasks. As an administrative representative of the Army Staff's Production Planning Department and in your contacts within and outside the department, a high level of integrity, a good attitude, and very good communication skills are required.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability for the position.

Conditions

The employment form requires an approved security check.

The Army Staff is a military unit, which means that you will be assigned to military service and are expected to be able to operate across the entire readiness scale (peace, crisis, war). You should also expect to be on standby during certain periods.
