On behalf of your local management, you contribute to ensuring that those responsible for processing individual cases in social insurance have the right competence to meet customers' needs. In doing so, you help customers gain an overview, control, and security in all contacts with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, so they can assert their rights and fulfill their obligations. In collaboration with local management and support functions, you actively participate in the development of overall quality in the application of social insurance.

Coaching, Development, and Collaboration
As a specialist, you provide advice and support to caseworkers/investigators regarding insurance interpretation and current processing processes. By coaching caseworkers/investigators, you contribute to ensuring they have the right competence to meet the needs of applicants and insured persons. You actively contribute to creating a workplace learning climate and identify the overall competence needs and initiate possible development paths. As an employee of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you have a high awareness of security since the agency deals with confidential information. Your work includes contributing to changes and developments in processes, and you play an important role in implementing regulatory and process changes. Your assignment also includes supporting unit managers with follow-up on quality in processing and being a support to the local management team on matters related to your area of expertise. As a specialist in the Department of Children and Families, you are part of a team of nine specialists and also have close collaboration with the insurance medical advisors. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high awareness of security.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
  • has specialist competence and expertise (or processing knowledge) in Parental Insurance
  • has a coaching approach
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • has good communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals.

It is meritorious if you have

  • in-depth knowledge of social insurance, administrative law, and public access and confidentiality
  • good knowledge in at least one of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's benefit areas, preferably in Parental Insurance
  • good knowledge in at least one of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's benefit areas, preferably in Parental Insurance for Children and Families
  • experience in mentoring new employees
  • experience in quality assurance of cases within Parental Insurance
  • good knowledge of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's website/self-service services and the agency's organization
  • experience in taking personal responsibility and independently distributing work based on the needs of the organization

Temporary position, full-time, with an estimated start date of May 2, 2026. The temporary position extends until January 31, 2027. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. There is an opportunity for remote work if the job allows.
