As a research administrator, you are responsible for communicating the department's research, education, and collaboration activities. Your work focuses on producing content that is clear, accessible, and tailored to both internal and external target groups.
Key responsibilities include creating engaging content about the department and its activities, such as texts, infographics, short videos, and podcasts, as well as publishing this via web platforms, social media, and relevant networks. You are also responsible for the department's website, including publishing and editing content aimed at students, staff, and external stakeholders such as partners and end-users.
You will also work to improve functionality and usability on the department's internal and external websites in collaboration with system developers and central university functions. In close dialogue with the department management, you will help develop a strategy for how research results should be disseminated and contribute to strengthening the department's external profile.
The role involves close collaboration with researchers, teachers, and administrative staff, including writing and editing texts in both English and Swedish. You will also participate in the planning and execution of external events such as workshops, lectures, and defenses.
Other administrative tasks may arise as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Since the position is located at a Swedish government agency and the department's working language is English, excellent documented language and stylistic skills in both Swedish and English are required.

- At least one year of professional experience in independently and successfully disseminating research and education.
- Documented academic skills and the ability to understand and work with academic texts in English.
- Experience in popularizing research and education.

- Experience in planning and developing how information is shared within an organization, as well as providing advice and solving problems related to AV equipment.
- Experience in editing audio, image, and video, and video recording, as well as leading podcasts in English.
- Good understanding of the department's core activities (teaching and research in the field of peace and conflict) and its collaboration with the surrounding society, both nationally and internationally.
- Very good knowledge of the web publishing tool SiteVision and experience working with Adobe programs such as InDesign, Premiere Pro, Audition, and Lightroom.
