Property Administrator at Uppsala Diocese Property Management

The Church of Sweden's 13 Clergy Property Assets are collectively one of Sweden's largest landowners.

The Clergy Property Assets in Uppsala Diocese cover approximately 51,500 hectares of forest and agricultural land, as well as numerous lakes and waterways located in the counties of Gävleborg, Stockholm, and Uppsala.

About the Position

As a Property Administrator at Uppsala Diocese, you will work within the management of agricultural and forestry properties. Your tasks will include:

  • Granting and managing various types of usage rights such as hunting, roads, and utilities.
  • Preparing and reviewing property declarations
  • Handling and participating in administrative matters such as building permits, sewage, etc.
  • Managing land encroachments
  • Sale of plot supplements
  • Participating in proceedings
  • Responsible for joint facilities
  • Conducting surveys in our systems

Who Are You?

We believe you are a proactive person with the ability to manage and switch between multiple parallel cases and tasks. You are meticulous, enjoy working independently on your tasks, but also being part of a team and collaborating with colleagues from different professions. The role involves many points of contact, managing interactions with both private individuals and authorities, so we see that you are relationship-building and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A bachelor's degree in surveying, forestry, or agriculture, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with land encroachments, leases, purchases, exchanges, and sales of real estate, as well as property formation.
  • Experience in case management.
  • A driver's license and computer proficiency.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in a larger complex organization.
