Job Description and Responsibilities
As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for the education in preschool by contributing to the realization of the curriculum's goals and intentions in education.
You are well acquainted with the curriculum and are confident in your professional role. We want you to have an approach where learning and knowledge development are in focus.
You are responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting the pedagogical work in preschool while understanding the importance of collegial learning. The preschool teacher leads the pedagogical work and is responsible for ensuring that children receive the education they are entitled to. You should have the child's best interests in mind and a strong belief that all children can succeed. We want the children to feel confident in their own abilities, that they can, dare, and want to. This requires your ability as a preschool teacher to be creative and to adapt the teaching according to the needs that exist.
You see a holistic perspective in education and value collaboration with guardians and other important stakeholders. Together with your colleagues, you work based on the systematic quality work carried out throughout the preschool unit. In your role, you are expected to plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical activities in line with current governing documents. You need to be genuinely curious about how you and your colleagues can drive development issues together. You should both individually and together with your colleagues organize so that children have the opportunity to spend the whole day in meaningful contexts in both smaller and larger groups.
We actively work to create a learning environment that challenges children's learning processes and inspires and awakens curiosity for exploration.
With us, you will have the opportunity to work with engaged colleagues with high ambitions in an organization that values reflection and curiosity. Through an exploratory approach, you will have the opportunity to closely follow children's curiosity and questions, and we help each other to turn perspectives both with the children and within the staff. You will also work with sustainability issues as these are highly relevant for us since the unit has received an award for "School for Sustainable Development" from the Swedish National Agency for Education.

- Knowledge of children with special needs.
- Experience with visual support and TAKK
- Project-oriented working methods, experience in leading a project-oriented approach with a focus on exploring together with the children

This is essential for leading the work with children forward in your role as a preschool teacher, but also in leading the team in a complex yet exciting educational context. Personal suitability is of great importance as you will take over when a preschool teacher temporarily takes on another assignment in the municipality.
