Your responsibilities

The position involves teaching physical education and health for grades 1-3 as well as adapted primary school. If you are a primary school teacher for leisure with a focus on sports, there is an opportunity to work in a combined role and full-time. As a teacher in physical education and health, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching for grades 1-3 and adapted primary school. At the same time, you support your two physical education colleagues in working with grades 4-6 and 7-9, and together you take responsibility for the school's joint sports days. Your teaching is based on the student group you meet, and you are expected to offer a varied and challenging teaching experience where students have the opportunity to explore and participate in various physical activities while promoting their understanding and inspiring them towards an active outdoor life throughout all seasons. Once a week, you accompany the adapted primary school to swimming lessons arranged by an external provider. You create an environment where students feel safe to explore their physical abilities and ensure that every student has the opportunity to grow within the subject. Mentorship is not included in the assignment, but you are expected to maintain a good dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues regarding students' knowledge development. In addition to close collaboration with the school's other physical education teachers, you are part of both subject teams and work teams where we work together to develop.

- Is a certified physical education teacher or a certified primary school teacher for leisure with a focus on physical education and health
- Has a well-thought-out view of knowledge and students.
- Sees students on both group and individual levels and adapts your teaching based on their needs and conditions

- You are collaborative and see the importance of driving the school's development together with other colleagues
- You see quality in teaching as a requirement for good goal fulfillment and therefore ensure that your teaching is goal-oriented, challenging, and has content and methodological variation
- You have the ability to follow and assess students' development of knowledge and skills in a varied way and, in collaboration with the student, develop these
- You have strong leadership skills where you, with good structure, order, relationships, and security, lead students to learning
- You see relationships and security as the foundation of learning and demonstrate this in your daily work

Requirements:
- You have a degree with teaching certification in physical education and health and are well acquainted with the primary school curriculum and syllabuses
- You have a good command of the Swedish language and a language- and knowledge-developing approach
- You are rated as a good pedagogue

Meritorious:
- You have experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in physical education and health.
- You are passionate about inspiring and making a difference in children's and young people's lives
- You see relationships and security as the foundation of learning
- You have experience working with students with intellectual disabilities
