Hermods Yrkeshögskola is looking for an Educational Leader!

Main Responsibilities

• Plan, staff, and ensure the quality of the training in accordance with the requirements of the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education, laws, and regulations.
• As an educational leader, you will be the authority's contact person regarding the training you are responsible for.
• Administration and coordination regarding the students and the education's management group.
• Coordinate, follow up, and develop the education in close collaboration with the education's management group.
• You are responsible for an active dialogue with the employing business community, primarily related to study visits, LIA placements, but also reapplication of the education when applicable.
• Continuous contact and follow-up with involved stakeholders such as students, business, and authorities.
• Actively contribute to the continued development and growth of Hermods Yrkeshögskola.

Your main goal is for the student to be sought after in the industry that the education leads to!

Qualifications

• Relevant higher education/vocational training or equivalent experience.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in project management tasks, preferably within educational activities.
• High digital competence, especially within O365, and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems.
• Good ability to understand and express yourself simply and clearly in spoken and written Swedish.
• Good communication skills and a knack for networking, both internally and externally.
• You have a coaching approach with an interest in adult learning and skills development.
• Collaboration is a natural guiding principle for you.
• Strong sense of responsibility and good administrative skills.
• You adapt easily to changing circumstances and focus on the right things.

Meritorious

• Previous experience in higher vocational education.
• Pedagogical education or experience.
• Experience in project management.
• A network within one of the industries that Hermods Yrkeshögskola educates in.

Additional Information

The position is a permanent employment at 100% with an initial probationary period.

Start date as soon as possible.
