At the Education Administration in Järfälla Municipality, approximately 3,100 employees work in one of our 39 preschools, 22 schools, a high school, adult education, and central administration. As an employee at Björkebyskolan, you work together in both work teams and subject teams in close collaboration with the school's student health team. The position includes teaching crafts with a focus on wood and metalwork in grades 7, 8, and 9 in the lower secondary school. The assignment also includes mentorship for a class in the lower secondary school.

• Participate in the school's development projects and interdisciplinary work

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in crafts according to LGR 22
• Assess and document students' knowledge development
• Be responsible for safety in the craft room and material ordering
• Mentorship, guide students, be the link between school and home, follow up on goal fulfillment and attendance
• Participate in the school's development projects and interdisciplinary work
• Actively participate in the activities carried out in work teams and subject teams

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education and experience are meritorious
• Teaching certification with authorization in crafts for grades 7-9
• Good knowledge of LGR 22
• Knowledge of machine safety and working environment in the craft room
• Basic digital competence
• Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing
