IES Sundbyberg is a school for grades 4-9. We are a bilingual school that follows the Swedish curriculum.
We are now looking for a certified primary school teacher with subject competence in Science for grades 7-9 for a fixed-term position from August 5 to June 16, 2027. The position includes shared mentorship in a 7-9 class.
You have a positive view of people and the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a teacher with us, you find it enjoyable, stimulating, and rewarding to teach students from various countries and provide each student with the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct lessons based on our Ethos and routines
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback to develop students' subject knowledge
- Mentorship for students in one of the classes you teach
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the school's community
Qualifications:
- Teaching certification in Science/Natural Science subjects
- Good knowledge of both Swedish and English
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet students' diverse needs
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning

Internationella Engelska Skolan Sundbyberg is a school for grades 4-9 with 620 students. The school has an international focus, and instruction is conducted in both English and Swedish.
