Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher in quantum information and quantum computing with applications in machine learning and optimization, particularly in future communication systems.

The main task is independent research and qualification in the field, but the position also includes some project management and coordination within the EU project that funds the positions. Within the project, we collaborate with several European universities and companies.

Requirements

• Completed PhD or foreign degree deemed equivalent to a PhD. This eligibility requirement must be met by the time the employment decision is made.
• Scientific excellence and outstanding academic qualifications.
• Potential for future development.
• Strong background in quantum information and quantum computing.
• Excellent academic qualifications and potential, well-developed analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, as it is required in daily work.

Desirable

• At the time of application, no more than three years since the PhD or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a PhD was obtained.
• Demonstrated teaching ability and potential.
• Proven ability to collaborate.
• Demonstrated awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues, with a particular focus on gender equality.

About the Employment
