Job Advertisement: Educator for Jakobsberg Preschools

At the Education Administration in Järfälla Municipality, approximately 3,100 employees work in one of our 39 preschools, 22 schools, high school, adult education, and central administration. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Jakobsberg Preschools consists of six preschools. The operation receives children aged one to five years. Approximately 130 employees work at the unit, including one principal, four assistant principals, a child health team with a special educator, and an administrative group of three people.

The preschools are located in Jakobsberg and are close to the forest both at Järvafältet and in the local environment, as well as close to several other schools, libraries, buses, and commuter trains.

We have a 50/50 ratio of preschool teachers and childcare workers in all preschools. We have an organization that is based on close leadership.

The unit runs a successful language development program based on the Language Development Program, where teaching with Före Bornholm takes place several times a week in all departments. The preschools have also participated in the SKUA initiative for a year and a half.

Planned and spontaneous teaching occurs both outdoors and indoors throughout the day for all ages.

Your responsibilities include planning, leading, implementing, evaluating, and developing pedagogical work in the child group. We believe that you, as an applicant, are passionate about developing an educational, fun, and stimulating environment together with the preschool's educators, children, and parents. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a preschool teacher education or teacher education for younger ages with a degree/teaching license and good leadership skills, as well as previous experience in preschool
• Sees the importance of and has the desire to develop the pedagogical environment in preschool
• Can express themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has good teamwork skills that contribute to a positive work environment
• Has a knack for organizing and structuring work in the department
• Enjoys having close dialogue with guardians
