Home Economics Teacher Wanted at the Swedish-Finnish School

The Swedish-Finnish School is a free school located at Fridhemsplan. We are a bilingual school with just over 500 students and about 80 staff members.
We are looking for a home economics teacher for a one-year substitute position. You should have good collaboration skills, as you will be part of a team with other practical-aesthetic teachers.
We hope that you are bilingual, but if not, that you are positive towards bilingualism and everything it entails. We have students who come directly from Finland to our school, and this requires that the teacher is creative in order to reach everyone.
You will teach home economics for grades 5 and 7. Experience in teaching is preferred, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome to apply. You are structured and organized. You also have good planning skills to overview the week and plan your time well. You will have contact with many students and guardians during a typical week, which requires you to be comfortable using a computer and various programs.
Meritorious: experience in teaching home economics, bilingual
Temporary employment during the school year 2026/2027.
Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application period ends.
Start date: August 2026
