About the job

Spånga Gymnasium is a small, pleasant school with about 350 students.

Here, you will find dedicated staff and low staff turnover. The school is idyllically located in the Solhem residential area, and you can easily reach the school by commuter train or bus. We offer a wide range of programs, such as the Natural Resource Program, Science Program, Social Science Program, as well as IMS (Language Introduction), IMY-NB (Vocational Introduction NB), and adapted upper secondary school with the national programs SMD (Forest, Land, Animals) and FB (Property and Construction). We are now looking for a licensed upper secondary teacher for teaching mathematics and physics. Could it be you?

The position includes mentorship for a class in the Natural Resource Program. Your teaching will be in the Natural Resource Program, Science Program, and language introduction. As a teacher in mathematics and physics, you will share an office with colleagues in your work team.

To succeed in this role, you need to have the ability to collaborate, enjoy developing teaching together with colleagues, and have the ability to adapt your lessons to different student groups.

Job Description

The position primarily involves planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting teaching. You are an active mentor who sees each individual and helps them reach their goals as far as possible. You participate in subject and work teams as well as other meetings such as the school's development groups, where you contribute with colleagues to further enhance our school.

Qualifications

You are a licensed teacher with the qualifications to teach mathematics and physics at the upper secondary level. Furthermore, you have a good ability to clarify the goals of teaching and assess them. You adapt to the individual's needs to optimize learning. Personal suitability is highly valued.
