Job Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities for teachers. You will work with the teachers in your team and teach and develop work in the natural sciences and technology. The position includes, in addition to teaching, mentorship.

About the Workplace

Gröndal School is a K-9 school with approximately 900 students and 100 staff members. The school's educators are divided into teams/subject groups. There is also a student health team at the school that includes all professions. The school is located next to the Gröndalsviken commuter train station. Our facilities are largely newly renovated. We have a nice auditorium and a centrally located school library. On top of our hill, there are opportunities for outdoor education. We are constantly developing our work, and currently, we are focusing on learning environments and differentiated instruction.

The primary task of the Child and Education Administration is to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment where we prepare children and young people for the future. We also work to promote access to cultural and recreational activities for all residents.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Teaching certification and qualifications for the subjects
• Experience in teaching at the primary school level
• Good knowledge of the school's governing documents
• Good IT skills and proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written

You are a clear leader in the classroom and can collaborate in the team in a responsible and humble way. Your approach is respectful and allows others to thrive and develop in your presence. As a person, you are distinctly communicative, ensuring that messages are conveyed and that expectations are clear and explicit. In your work, you have a natural ability to plan and organize your activities effectively. Maintaining high quality is a given for you, and you stay updated with current research.
