The Department of Children and Education works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The department is responsible for preschool activities, school-age care, primary school, and adapted primary school. Huddinge Municipality is looking for an engaged and structured VFU Coordinator who wants to contribute to our preschools, primary, and secondary schools, as well as our adult education, offering skilled supervisors to teacher students. The role as VFU Coordinator involves collaboration internally with all school forms in Huddinge Municipality and externally with all higher education institutions around Greater Stockholm.

In the role of VFU Coordinator, there are also tasks related to development issues, for example, by contributing to the coordination of the national ULF collaboration (Education Learning Research) in cooperation with several of Greater Stockholm's higher education institutions.

Your tasks

• Be the municipality's contact link to universities and colleges in Stockholm
• Plan, coordinate, and allocate VFU placements across all school forms
• Support, educate, and provide service to supervisors
• Support and assist schools and their leaders
• Coordinate study visits and introductions for new teacher students
• Develop routines and processes related to VFU
• Follow up and ensure the quality of students' VFU placements
• Actively participate in the national ULF collaboration
• Be responsible for managing VFU compensations, including invoicing, internal allocation, and follow-up of compensations between higher education institutions and the municipality
• Administer and be responsible for a summer university together with Södertörn University
• Participate in the municipality's strategic work with competence supply (e.g., work-integrated practice and training)

We are looking for someone who has:

• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Very good ability to create good relationships
• Ability to work independently, structured, and long-term
• Teaching degree
• Supervisor training for VFU
• Experience working with educational issues in municipal operations
• Good administrative and digital skills

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Education in administration and economics
• Personal experience of supervising
