I am a 45-year-old man living in my own home in Västra Hisingen. I live with a severe intellectual disability and traits of autism. For me, structure, routines, and predictability are important parts of everyday life that create security and well-being. I am an active person who enjoys being outdoors - walks are an obvious part of my day, regardless of the weather.

About you
I am looking for someone who is calm, secure, and patient, and who thrives in a role where relationships and continuity are in focus. You have the ability to follow established routines but can also be flexible when the situation requires it. You are attentive, can read needs, and feel secure in making your own decisions to provide the right support in the moment. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is advantageous, but personal suitability is crucial.

Job Responsibilities
As a personal assistant, you will support me in all aspects of daily life, such as:

• personal care and hygiene
• dressing and undressing
• cooking and household chores
• waking and bedtime
• walks and other activities

The work can be physically demanding. Night work occurs in the form of sleeping on duty.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in working with individuals with disabilities
• be empathetic, responsible, and professional
• have good collaboration skills and can communicate well with both colleagues and relatives
• master Swedish in speech and writing
• be flexible, proactive, and secure in yourself

Previous experience as a personal assistant is advantageous, but we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability.

About the position

• Scope: Part-time, approximately 70%
• Working hours: Day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on duty
• Start date: immediate
