About the role In this combined position, you will have a varied and meaningful assignment where you both drive quality work and offer support to adults in need of social support.

As a senior social worker, you are responsible for guiding and supporting caseworkers in the authority's operations for the elderly and LSS. You represent the board in court and work with method guidance and quality assurance. The role also includes conducting self-assessments and internal controls, as well as developing routines and processes that create stability and efficiency in the operations.

As a social worker for adults, you work to assess needs, provide support, and create long-term and sustainable solutions for people in vulnerable situations. The work is both independent and cross-professional, with close collaboration with internal colleagues and external actors to ensure the best possible support.

The assignment includes assessing needs and providing advice to adults seeking social support, creating and following up on individual plans, collaborating with other professionals, documenting cases carefully, and following up on interventions. You also participate in continuous professional development and actively contribute to the improvement work of the organization.

Qualifications We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified social worker, social care professional, or has a bachelor's degree from the Social Pedagogy program (180 credits, University West, since 2003).
• Feels comfortable making decisions and handling complex cases with confidence and professionalism.
• Finds it easy to build good relationships and appreciates collaboration – both internally and externally.
• Works in a structured manner and has the ability to prioritize between different cases.
• Communicates clearly and sensitively with people in various life situations.
• Is passionate about social work and wants to make a difference in a smaller municipality where every effort counts.
