JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who are an experienced medical secretary.

The unit for administrative support in emergency and medicine consists of about 30 employees who work as medical secretaries, administrators, receptionists, and management support.

Your focus area is to work in various ways to ensure accessibility and administrative quality assurance in the area of operations. You have an interest in quality assuring the administrative processes and working towards good accessibility for our patients. In this role, you will be involved in developing the coding work within outpatient care while also sharing your knowledge with your colleagues. In combination with your focus areas, you will serve as a medical secretary within outpatient care. In the role of medical secretary, you will, among other things, work with telephone service, medical record writing, appointment booking, referral management, 1177, as well as visit and diagnosis registration.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you with a recognized education in health and medical care administration, 80p KY or 400p YH or equivalent approved medical secretary education. You have good knowledge of medical terminology and master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing. It is a requirement that you have some form of training in disease classification.

Personal qualities that are highly valued are that you have a sense of service, have integrity, and understand the importance of handling information in a professional manner. You are an organized person and can prioritize your work if necessary. You enjoy working both independently and together with others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
