For 25 years, Gryning has offered HVB and open care for children, youth, and families, emergency and foster homes, addiction care, supported apartments, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities of Västra Götaland through the four municipal associations.

Family Center Fyrbodal in Vänersborg receives families with children and individually placed children aged 0-12 years as well as expectant mothers. Our operations are divided into two parts; institution and open care. Our profile focuses on assessing the needs of children and the capabilities of parents, as well as strengthening the interaction between children and parents. The goal is to provide parents with an alternative to the relational patterns they have tried so far and to give children care, structure, and security that is fundamental to their future development.

We are now looking for a treatment secretary for a temporary position starting immediately until 2027-05-01.

The working hours are scheduled and irregular.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What does the position entail?

As a treatment secretary, you will participate in treatment planning and perform qualified investigation and treatment work. You will have conversations with family members, document, and maintain contact with clients and other important individuals in children's networks.

Since care and supervision are part of the job, it is important to be able to collaborate, be attentive, and flexible. Being a support for children and families in their daily routines is also an essential part of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or an equivalent education, focused on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. Experience working with children and families in vulnerable life situations and a good knowledge of legislation in the area is an advantage. We seek someone who can work independently and in a team, is flexible, and structured.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.
