In Tanum municipality, the student health service collaborates at both local and central levels.

Our common mission and goal is to work together with children/students, educators, and guardians to create a good social, pedagogical, and physical learning environment based on the different needs and conditions of children/students to acquire and develop knowledge and values.

The student health service receives its assignments from the principal.

The student health service consists of several different professions, including school social workers, school psychologists, school doctors, school nurses, special educators, social educators, and youth counselors.

Responsibilities

As a school social worker, you are part of the student health service and participate in the promotional and preventive work for students' development and goal fulfillment. You work consultatively with educators and other professionals within the school and have supportive conversations with students. The role includes collaborating on activities and interventions at the units with educators and other professionals within the student health service and participating in the EHT.

As a school social worker, you always have the students' best interests in focus, based on the school's mission. Your work also includes conveying knowledge to guardians and school staff. Your work will primarily be conducted within the primary school.

Qualifications

You enjoy collaborating with others but also have a good ability to work independently. You have a good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.

As a person, you are:

• have a positive attitude towards an inclusive working method

Applicants should be educated social workers or social educators. A licensed health and medical care social worker is an advantage.

Experience in student health work is also an advantage.

The position requires a B driver's license as well as access to a personal vehicle.

We offer

A stimulating and pleasant working environment with well-developed teamwork, both within the central student health service and in collaboration with the units. You will belong to a professional team of six school social workers.

One position is a permanent employment of 100% with start date by agreement.

One position is a temporary employment of 50% with start date by agreement.
