Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a 17-year-old boy living in Vasastan

• Has good knowledge of Swedish

• Has experience with low-arousal approaches

• Has experience with outwardly aggressive behavior

• Is a competent swimmer

• Has good physical condition (able to perform heavy lifting)

• Is smoke-free (during working hours)

• Has experience with autism

It is also an advantage if you:

Share the boy's interests such as swimming and taking the subway. He also enjoys sitting with his iPad and wearing headphones to listen to music and/or watch videos.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is a temporary position starting immediately until 2026-03-31, with an employment rate of approximately 80%. After the temporary position ends, there is an opportunity to continue working with the client as a substitute. Working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend.

The schedule for the temporary position is as follows:

Monday-Thursday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Salary:

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date:

Immediately.
