Are you our new part-timer?

We are looking for part-time employees throughout the year who want to contribute with engagement, interest, experience, and competence. Perhaps you also want to be part of our team during the summer holiday periods. We are a team of 11 people with joy in work, long experience, and competence, and a genuine interest in those we meet in our work. As an employee, you will always receive a good introduction, and you will have the opportunity to enter the work with guidance from regular staff. You will receive your tasks directly from the workplace, and the scope may vary according to your wishes. Working hours include night shifts, day, evening, and weekend shifts. The need varies over time, and you will cover when regular staff are not on duty.

Vigor is a support accommodation for adults with harmful use/dependency issues. We have 11 places. With us, those who want support and help towards a good life live, regardless of their issues. Vigor is a unit with nice facilities where we try to encourage social activities based on wishes. We use several methods, e.g., motivational interviewing. What we see as equally important is good and respectful treatment in every meeting. We always work for relationship and alliance as a foundation. We are humble in recognizing that everyone is different and that needs are therefore also different. We want to see every person as unique and that everyone has something to contribute. The work environment is very important to us. We actively work with good cooperation, professional relationships, and we assume that we are also each other's work environment. We want to be secure in our work, so we have action plans for safety and take care of risks as they arise.

Your tasks

As a part-time employee as needed, you will receive tasks from regular staff. This may involve driving to various activities, accompanying as support to e.g., doctors, dentists, or other healthcare providers. You may assist with e.g., cooking, shopping, support with various phone calls, encouraging and supporting physical activity, and supportive conversations for those in need. The work you do will largely be based on the client's individual planning. During your shift, you may also document in the journal system, help with the handover of information to colleagues who take over when your shift ends.

Who are you?

Requirements:
- Driving license B.
- You have basic computer skills.
- You master Swedish in speech and writing.
- At least high school competence.

Meritorious:
- Ongoing education in social work.
- Experience working with adults with harmful use/dependency, mental disabilities.
- Social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, nursing assistant, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- Knowledge and familiarity with low-arousal responses, motivational interviewing, and harm reduction.
- You have experience with pedagogical methods focused on mental disabilities.

Personal qualities:
You who are applying should be flexible, cooperative, structured, and have a positive view of people where you motivate individuals to accept help to manage their everyday life based on unique conditions. You have a genuine interest in working for and with people, and you believe that good treatment is the foundation of all human encounters.
