Bergsätra group home has 10 residents divided into two departments. At the group home, we work day, evening, and awake night shifts to provide support, service, and security to our residents. The work group at the group home is stable, committed, and development-oriented, working closely together and having a good community.

Your new job

The main tasks include personal hygiene, meal support, assistance in creating structure in daily life, and support during social activities, with the goal of creating good living conditions for the individual, based on their individual needs and implementation plan. The work is permeated by a pedagogical approach with respect for the individual's integrity. The work also includes documentation, the establishment of implementation plans, and collaboration with relatives.

Examples of tasks: Provide support in daily living, e.g., personal care, meals, hygiene, clothing, and activities. Strengthen the individual's independence, participation, and influence over their daily life. Create structure, security, and predictability in the living environment. Plan and implement leisure and social activities, both inside and outside the home. Maintain ongoing dialogue with relatives and guardians. Collaborate with other professionals, e.g., nurses, occupational therapists, and habilitation. Document interventions and follow implementation plans according to current routines and legislation. In this, you should contribute to a good work climate and collaborate in the work group and work according to applicable laws, regulations, and the organization's values.

Your profile

You have completed a secondary education in the healthcare and social care program, nursing assistant training with a focus on intellectual disabilities (ID), support pedagogy training, or other education deemed equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have experience in pedagogical work with ID and autism.

You are a secure and stable person with a great interest in working with people. You are proactive and can work both independently and as part of a team. You are also flexible, resilient, responsible, have a good demeanor, and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
