About the School

Hembergsskolan is a secondary school located in Vilhelmina, in the Västerbotten inland.

Here you will have the opportunity to work in a smaller school with close relationships, short decision-making paths, and a clear focus on safety, well-being, and learning.

The school is centrally located in the urban area with walking distance to most things.

Hembergsskolan has about 160 students, distributed across three parallel classes in each grade, with a maximum of 20 students per class. We are a school where students and staff know each other well and where safety is a prerequisite for learning.

At the school, there is a safety officer who, together with the staff, works preventively to create a safe and pleasant school environment and investigates bullying in accordance with the school's routines.

Job Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility

As a teacher at Hembergsskolan, you are responsible for teaching your subjects and are a mentor for a class together with a colleague. The mentorship includes responsibility for students' attendance and, in collaboration with colleagues and student health, supporting students' social development – both individually and in groups.

Based on necessary decisions, we are looking for teachers in the following subjects:

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license and is qualified to teach in secondary school.

You find it easy to create good relationships with students, have good digital competence, and use digital learning environments in a conscious way. You are innovative in your working methods and see opportunities rather than limitations, and can work independently while also collaborating well with colleagues.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
