Do you want to work with software development and design adaptations of control systems and automation solutions for container cranes at a world-leading global company? We are looking for a recent graduate who is passionate about programming and innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities

As a junior software developer, your main responsibilities will be to work on various delivery projects where adaptations of control systems and automation solutions for container cranes are the focus. The adaptations made in the software occur through close collaboration with hardware engineers and depend on where and how the crane will be used. The goal is to create reliable, efficient, and safe adaptations of the crane system, which requires a creative, solution-oriented mindset as you will be responsible for about 50% of the design code in the final solution.

Qualifications

• You have at least a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, robotics, or electrical engineering
• You speak and write English fluently
• You have a good understanding and knowledge of PLC programming
• You have the ability to travel 4-12 weeks per year

Preferred Qualifications

• You have knowledge of other programming languages, e.g., C, C++, Java, or Python
• You speak and understand a European or non-European language, e.g., Chinese, German, or another
• Previous experience with PLC programming
