Your role and responsibilities
Do you want to combine technical problem-solving with customer contact while being an important part of ABB Robotics' continued growth? Do you thrive in a role where you can switch between technical support, sales support, and customer visits? Then this could be the next step in your career.
As a Technical Support and Sales Support, you will be part of an engaged team that helps Swedish end customers and system integrators with their technical inquiries while supporting our salespeople in new sales. The role offers a combination of problem-solving, customer dialogue, technology, and business acumen – both remotely and on-site with customers. You will be responsible for managing incoming cases via a shared inbox. If necessary, more complex issues will be escalated further in the support chain. In everything you do, high quality in communication and customer relationships is crucial.
As part of the sales support, you will work closely with our salespeople, conduct product demonstrations, and sometimes carry out customer training. The role involves regular customer visits, and you will have access to a company car.
Location: Västerås
Responsibilities:
- Receive, analyze, and resolve technical support cases
- Ensure documentation of cases in SalesForce in English
- Conduct product demonstrations and sometimes training at customer sites
- Support the sales organization with technical expertise during new sales
- Contribute to developing and improving working methods and processes within the team
- Stay updated on ABB Robotics products, services, and news
- Visit customers across Sweden (sometimes also in Denmark, Norway, and Finland)
- Maintain an active dialogue with customers to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with colleagues for efficient case management and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Solid technical interest, curiosity, and analytical skills
- Understanding of robotics, automation, and applications, as well as product knowledge of ABB robots, is an advantage
- Experience working in SalesForce
- Project management skills are beneficial for ensuring progress in work
- You are business-minded, customer-oriented, social, and enjoy working and collaborating with people, both external and internal colleagues
- You need to be able to handle stressful situations, where the customer expects a quick solution, but we first need to understand the problem and then resolve it
- Flexible and able to juggle multiple tasks, it’s not uncommon to need to switch between different cases depending on their nature and escalation
- Customer visits primarily occur in Sweden, but may also be relevant in Denmark, Norway, and Finland
- Fluent in Swedish and English
