ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently looking for software developers for embedded systems for our client. There is an opportunity to work either from Arboga, Örebro, Karlskoga, or Karlstad, and the role suits you who thrive in technically complex environments where quality, safety, and long-term thinking are in focus. In this role, you will work on developing software for embedded systems, often in a Linux environment and close to both hardware and testing activities. The assignments are carried out in teams with high technical competence and require precision, collaboration, and a genuine interest in technology. The work takes place in a structured and security-classified environment where it is important to understand the intended behavior of the system and act carefully in every moment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Program and analyze functions primarily in C/C++
• Analyze system behaviors and ensure that functions meet requirements
• Programming close to hardware in Linux-based systems
• Work with testing, verification, and troubleshooting of hardware-near systems
• Contribute with technical assessments and improvement suggestions in the development work

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has post-secondary education in electronics, computer engineering, technical physics, or equivalent work experience
• Has at least 2 years of experience in embedded development
• Has a good understanding of programming in C/C++
• Has experience with hardware-near work, such as testing, verification, system development, or similar
• Can communicate in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing, as required for the tasks
• Has Swedish citizenship, which is required as the position is security classified

It is meritorious if you have:

• Knowledge of Python and/or .NET/C#
• Experience with other languages or technologies of relevance, such as Rust
