System Administrator for HR and Payroll Systems

Job Responsibilities

As a system administrator, you will play a central role in ensuring that our HR, payroll, and personnel management systems have a good balance between technical solutions and usability for smooth and efficient functionality. You will be part of a team that works together to keep the systems updated, solve problems that arise, and assist users in the best way possible.

Development will also be part of your responsibilities, where you may lead projects or participate in projects to enhance the system further. Development work is done in collaboration with our users, employees, system suppliers, and the IT unit. We work according to the system management model pm3. The assignment also includes supplier contacts and networking with other regions.

The work involves a significant degree of personal responsibility, where you have the opportunity to plan your work and your workday independently. About the Workplace

The Payroll-Pension-System Support unit is placed directly under the HR Director. We belong to the HR Center, which is part of the administration of the Regional Office in Region Västmanland.

The overarching goal of the HR Center is to drive and develop digitalization within HR. We provide system support related to HR issues and continuously develop and deliver digital HR services based on the needs of the operations. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma and experience working in system administration and management for HR and payroll systems. A university degree in computer science or equivalent is highly meritorious. If you also have knowledge of general regulations (AB), that is an advantage. Since you will communicate in both spoken and written form in your work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish.

You are curious, motivated, and have an interest in system management within the HR field. We see that you are clear in your communication and have a willingness and ability to help others. In collaboration with others, both within and outside the organization, you contribute to a constructive collaborative climate and a good working environment through your ability to relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner.
