Your Role

We are now looking for an experienced technical project manager who wants to drive both delivery and product projects. With us, you will play a key role in leading the integration of some of the world's leading systems within our area of operations - AEW (Airborne Early Warning). You will work on technically complex projects with high demands on quality, structure, and collaboration.

As a technical project manager, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that projects meet technical requirements, stay within budget, and deliver according to plan. The role involves leading and coordinating the technical work in the projects - both internally within our teams and externally towards customers and suppliers.

In the role of technical project manager, you will among other things:

• Lead, plan, and ensure progress in the technical work within the projects
• Be responsible for customer and supplier contacts regarding technical issues
• Support the project manager with technical decision-making material during customer dialogues and steering group meetings
• Monitor project activities and ensure that the project's commitments are met through active and present leadership
• Coordinate and define internal technical functions, including the definition of the project's scope, timeline, budget, and resource needs
• Participate early in the Win Business phase by conducting system analyses of prospects, contributing technical material for cost calculations, and driving and leading design and architecture work
• Identify risks, dependencies, and technical challenges and work proactively with action plans

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with solid experience in technical project management in complex environments. You have an engineering degree, preferably at the master's level, and several years of experience in systems work or system development. You have a good technical understanding and the ability to translate requirements and needs into feasible technical solutions.

As a person, you are structured, communicative, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a coordinating role where you collaborate closely with various functions and stakeholders, and you have previous experience in some form of formal leadership or technically leading roles. You find it easy to navigate organizations and build trusting relationships, both internally and externally.

Since the role involves extensive communication with external customers, good business acumen and very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required.

Meritorious:

• Experience in systems engineering according to INCOSE or similar frameworks
• Certifications in project management or systems engineering
• Experience working in the defense industry or other security-critical operations
• Familiarity with working in international project environments
