Software & Cloud, one of our business areas within Knightec Group, helps customers develop future-proof and large-scale computer and software systems across the IT landscape – from electronic devices and networks to data-driven enterprise applications supported by AI and cloud services.

In this role, you will:

• Utilize your technical expertise to help our customers optimize their embedded solutions.

• Lead and contribute to exciting development projects – from improving existing products to creating entirely new ones.

• Collaborate across disciplines – work closely with both hardware and software teams to solve real challenges.

• Communicate complex technical ideas clearly – both to technical experts and business stakeholders.

• Explore and implement new technologies – stay at the forefront and drive innovation with new methods and tools.

We are looking for someone who is innovative, solution-oriented, and enjoys collaborating. In addition to your personal qualities, we want you to have:

• At least 5 years of experience in software development and a solid technical foundation.

• Documented experience in embedded development in C/C++ or Python.

• Experience from the entire product development cycle – from idea to finished product.

• Experience with DevOps is a plus, for example in Azure or AWS.

• Deep understanding of embedded systems or software development.

• Interest in industries such as Automotive, Industry, or Defense.

• You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

This is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period, located at our office in central Västerås, Kopparbergsvägen 11A. Travel may occur to our clients. The start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
