Västra Mälardalen Municipal Federation is now looking for a system administrator to the payroll unit's system administrator team.

Our office is located in Köping, but there are good opportunities for a flexible work environment with remote work by agreement with the manager. You will plan the ongoing work together with the team for system administration.

The payroll unit consists of a total of 15 employees who work with system administration, management, and payroll processing. The operational systems we currently manage are Personec, WinLas, TimeCare, and Microwebb.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The system administration team handles the daily operation of the systems, processing, and control of integrations for our member municipalities and companies/federations, currently a total of 14 organizations.

We work to constantly adapt the systems according to the needs, requirements, and wishes of the operations. Development will also be part of your tasks, where you will participate in various larger and smaller development projects.

Other tasks include:

• Access management
• System adaptation for contract and table changes from the supplier.
• Responsible for support cases to the supplier regarding inaccuracies and development issues.
• Chairing certain working groups with our member municipalities.
• Implement decisions about the system's content made by the management group or steering group.
• Carry out decided organizational changes in the systems.
• Provide support and training for users in system issues and be responsible for system and user documentation.
• Handle requests and inaccuracies regarding operational systems that come in via the internal case management system.

We have a close collaboration with others in the payroll unit, and you are an expert support in system issues both internally and externally!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with several years of system experience in the role of system administrator or an equivalent position for payroll and personnel systems. Post-secondary education in a relevant field or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.

It is advantageous if you have worked as a system administrator in the public sector within a municipality or region and gained knowledge of the laws and agreements governing the public sector.

You are responsible, flexible, and want to drive the work forward and achieve results. You create a good work environment by sharing your knowledge and collaborating in an inclusive and unpretentious manner.

The work requires that you have a very good ability to express yourself pedagogically and well in both speech and writing.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You have a holistic perspective, knowledge, and understanding of systems and integrations. Furthermore, you are confident in yourself and in your work with the ability to work independently while enjoying working in a team.

OTHER

The Västra Mälardalen Municipal Federation (VMKF) works for an enhanced and deepened collaboration between the member municipalities of Arboga, Kungsör, Köping, and Surahammar, along with associated municipal companies and federations. VMKF provides support, service, and assistance in areas such as housing adaptation, parking permits, payroll, procurement, IT, and telecommunications.
