We are looking for an experienced IT support technician for an assignment (immediate start) at an international industrial company that develops and manufactures advanced solutions for rail-bound transport. The company is global with several establishments, where Sweden is an important part of the organization. The role is suitable for you who want to work closely with the business and contribute to a stable, secure, and well-functioning IT environment. As a Second Line Support, you will handle more complex cases escalated from First Line and provide qualified support in IT hardware, networks, printers, and server environments. You will work according to Group IT's guidelines and collaborate closely with users, suppliers, and the IT organization.

Responsibilities

• Handle and follow up on IT cases escalated to second line support
• Provide technical support in IT hardware, networks, printers, and servers
• Order, manage, and inventory IT equipment according to needs and budget
• Prepare, distribute, and retrieve IT equipment during onboarding and offboarding
• Maintain and troubleshoot networks and manage operational disruptions
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access
• Ensure availability, performance, and security in the IT environment
• Collaborate with IT Project Lead on project-related issues

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in 2nd line IT support
• Have good technical understanding of IT hardware, networks, and IT infrastructure
• Are used to working systematically in issue management systems
• Are solution-oriented, service-minded, and self-driven
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
