The Position:

The team's responsibility is the operation and maintenance of the Swedish Armed Forces' Linux/UNIX systems, and we need to expand as we grow due to the global situation and transition consultants to permanent staff.

Main Responsibilities:

The position involves working with incident management, simpler change requests, and troubleshooting in the area. Documentation is also a given task. There are great opportunities to advance to system technician.

Qualifications:

• Higher education with a focus on IT/data or equivalent experience is required
• Experience with installation/operation/maintenance and troubleshooting of Linux/UNIX
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B is required.

Meritorious:

• Installation/operation/maintenance/troubleshooting of medium-sized Linux environments
• Virtualization
• Clustered environments
• Shell scripting, Python scripting

Permanent employment, full-time (six months probationary period applies). Start date by agreement. Place of employment is Arboga. On-call duty and work at other locations may be included in the position.
