Do you want to help build the world's largest open business network together with a well-known SAAS company? We are looking for a developer who wants to design and develop scalable, secure web applications using modern technology in a cloud environment. At our client, you will work in cross-functional teams where quality, innovation, and collaboration are at the core.

About the job


We are looking for a developer who either comes directly from their education or has spent some time in the workforce in a similar role. In this role, you will work on creating, improving, and maintaining the company's digital software solutions that are part of their cloud-based business network. Our client has several different teams working on various solutions and is looking for similar backgrounds.

Our client has recently become part of something even bigger. Together, they are building the world's largest open business network. Through their cloud-based network, customers can reach all companies, anywhere in the world – regardless of how many borders their business crosses. They manage technical and regulatory requirements throughout the order-to-cash, purchase-to-pay, and shipping processes, providing customers with data accuracy, security, transparency, and real-time insights. All through a single connection.

About the role

As a software developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Develop REST APIs and microservices.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers.
  • Implement automated testing as part of the delivery.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
About you
  • Relevant post-secondary education in IT.
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of the following tech stack: Java, Scala, and React.

As a person, you are communicative, structured, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to collaborate with different functions and dare to challenge both technical and commercial assumptions to achieve the best possible results.

About the employment

For this role, you will initially be employed by Friday but with the ambition to transition to employment with the client company in the long run.
