Role Description

We are looking for a senior Test Engineer for a consulting assignment in test automation and web-based systems. You will work closely with developers and product teams to validate functionality, performance, and stability in web applications. The role includes both the design and implementation of automated tests as well as end-to-end testing of streaming solutions related to specific products in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute GUI-based automated tests integrated with CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Playwright or equivalent
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing
• Perform end-to-end testing for streaming data related to specific products
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and report defects with clear reproduction steps
• Contribute to test strategy, test coverage, and quality metrics
• Conduct joint testing with other teams and organizations with clearly defined responsibilities

Requirements

• Experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Playwright
• Good understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of test automation concepts, selectors, assertions, and mocking
• Experience with Git-based workflows
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools and test execution in pipelines
