Over 60,000 employees and students need secure and smooth access to the city's IT environment every day.

This is no small task, and it starts with the right identity and access solutions. As a Scrum Master in Identity and Access, you step into the heart of Gothenburg City's digital infrastructure. You will be a key person in several teams responsible for the solutions that enable the entire city to function – from identity management and access control to account management and secure login. The business area is responsible for the operation, management, and development of the city's central IT environment. Here, we work on issues where security and user experience must go hand in hand – and where your contribution is truly noticeable.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile activities and be responsive to the teams' needs in agile work and methods.
• Identify and remove obstacles to the team's delivery capacity, both internal and external.
• Contribute to and follow up on delivery plans, in close dialogue with Product Owners and Management Leaders.
• Collaborate with other roles such as Product Owners, Service Delivery Managers, Management Leaders, and Unit Managers to ensure resource availability, compliance, and connection to unit/business goals.
• Drive team development and learning, including agile mentorship and support for new working methods.
• Monitor quality and flow in the work, e.g., by visualizing lead time, velocity, and WIP.
• Build/develop high-performing teams.

You will take on the role of Development Leader.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a higher education in IT or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You have several years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Leader, Agile Coach, or in a similar role within IT services or software development. You have experience driving change and team development. Additionally, you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Experience with tools related to software development, service development, operations, and management.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, system development, and technical concepts.
• Agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and similar)

It is a merit if you have experience in the following areas:

• Identity and access platforms
• Practical experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes GitOps/CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Jira.
• Information security and regulatory compliance: GDPR, NIS2 understanding.

You are decisive and action-oriented with a focus on results – you complete what you start and take ownership of the entire chain within your areas of responsibility. You are meticulous, responsive, and eager to share your expertise. You see documentation as a natural part of the work.

The role involves many points of contact, and you are skilled at communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You can discuss technical solutions and limitations with the development team just as naturally as you present and negotiate with the business.

You are observant, enjoy improving and developing, and have the ability to combine complexity with simplicity – always with the customer's benefit in focus.
