We are looking for a Test Engineer with a focus on software deployment for an assignment in the automotive sector. You will join a small team responsible for preparing and updating test vehicles used for product validation, data collection, and user feedback. The work is centered on software-related testing, with particular focus on propulsion and connected services.

In this role, you will help ensure that vehicles are updated, ready for testing, and equipped to support ongoing development of new technology.

• Manage software updates in vehicles using OTA, VIDA, and DSA.
• Prepare test vehicles for validation, data collection, and software-related activities.
• Handle and monitor tests running in vehicles, primarily linked to new products and upcoming technology.
• Support troubleshooting and fault tracing related to software deployment.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and share information across the team.
• Work with relevant workshop, quality, and aftermarket stakeholders when needed.

• Knowledge of how to use PIE and understand software structure, PGW, OTAmatic, and OTA diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of the software and electrical topology structure in the car.
• B driver’s license.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish, both verbal and written.

• Experience with VIDA as well as diagnostic and software download programs for development.
• A strong personal network within workshops, quality departments, or aftermarket-related functions.
