Do you want to be part of developing the vehicle solutions of the future? We are now looking for an Embedded Software Application Engineer who wants to contribute technical depth and develop advanced features for our client in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

As an Embedded Software Application Engineer, you will:

• Perform functional development: requirements breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing, and verification.
• Specialize in technical areas such as: Vehicle, HMI, Combustion, Engine Aftertreatment, Electromobility, Powertrain Control, Control Theory, Mechatronics, or Diagnostics.
• Lead system engineering in a technical team and actively contribute to deliveries.
• Integrate deliveries from others and ensure quality and completion before release.
• Participate in early development phases and contribute to technical roadmaps.
• Network within the organization and influence work in other locations.
• Develop your skills and participate in business development.

The assignment is expected to start immediately.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in developing vehicle functions, preferably within On-Board Diagnostics or with knowledge of emission control, and who wants to continue developing their skills in the field. You have a relevant university degree and are fluent in both Swedish and English.

You are pragmatic and driven, take initiative, and can independently plan and drive your tasks forward. At the same time, you value collaboration and are a team player who contributes to knowledge sharing and strong relationships within the team. You always have the customer's success in focus and strive to continuously improve both products and work processes.
