Test Engineer – Active Safety Systems

About the Assignment

We are looking for an experienced test engineer for a consulting assignment in the development and verification of active safety systems for vehicles. You will work in an advanced testing and development environment alongside an experienced team, focusing on functionality, quality, and safety. The role combines practical testing work in vehicles with analytical work on data and results.

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparation, and execution of vehicle tests
• Analysis, evaluation, and documentation of test results
• Support for developers and function owners in improvement work
• Close collaboration with customers in a project-based environment
• Technical analysis and problem-solving

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in a relevant field, or equivalent education
• At least 3 years of experience as a test engineer in the automotive industry
• Experience with Vector tools (e.g., CANalyzer) and logging and diagnostic tools
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B with good driving experience
• Analytical, solution-oriented, and responsible
• Good collaboration and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience in programming, such as Python
• Experience with Matlab
• Test track driving license (e.g., T2 level)
• Driving license category C or CE

Start: Immediately Duration: Approximately 1 year with the possibility of extension Location: Gothenburg (on-site, with elements of work at a test track outside Borås and driving on public roads)
