Närhälsan Skene rehab clinic is a well-functioning clinic where you will be part of a competent team of eight physiotherapists and two occupational therapists. Together, we work to help our patients lead a more active and mobile life.

About the Job

As an occupational therapist at Närhälsan rehab clinic, you will work with a wide variety of patients of all ages, providing you with excellent opportunities to develop in your profession. The job consists of patient visits at the clinic, home visits, and digital consultations. As a new employee, you will be assigned a mentor who will introduce you to the role. Common conditions you will encounter as an occupational therapist include reduced hand function, pain, stress issues, and mental health challenges. The work also involves prescribing aids and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan will be developed. Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.

The job involves close collaboration with other professionals, both within your own unit and with other entities. We have a close collaboration with Närhälsan's rehab clinics in Svenljunga and Tranemo, and part of the role includes staffing these clinics during acute and/or planned absences. You and your colleagues, together with the manager, are responsible for the development of the operation in an ongoing improvement process.

About You

You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in outpatient care is an advantage, but we also welcome new graduates.

We are looking for someone who is ready to take on the challenge of working independently, organizing, and planning your work effectively based on set goals. You can handle uneven workloads and unforeseen events. As you will meet many different people in your work, it is important that you are accommodating and adapt your communication to the situation. For you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work. You also share Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

Travel may be required as part of the job.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who will invite candidates for a phone interview. After the application period, the hiring manager will make a second selection of applicants and invite them for an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
