Do you want the mandate to shape financial governance in one of Sweden's leading retail chains? Through the transition from franchise to 'Ett Mio', we have created entirely new opportunities to manage, develop, and accelerate the business. We are now looking for someone who wants to build the structures, culture, and insights that will take us into the future. Your Role and Mission Mio is in an exceptionally exciting phase where we are creating new opportunities to manage and accelerate the business. As Head of Business Control, you will have a strategic key role where your main focus is to lead and develop our central controller function. Your mission is to shift us from reactive reporting to proactive business governance by building group-wide structures for budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up. In your daily work, you will act as an advisor to management and operations. You will be responsible for translating financial data into concrete development initiatives and establishing a “common language” for follow-up across the entire group. The role involves broad cross-functional work where you lead the insights work related to the entire value chain, from supply chain and inventory management to store profitability and customer behavior. You will also drive the work towards more predictive analysis and ensure that we leverage modern technology and master data. Who Are You? To succeed in this role, you need to be a confident leader who can navigate a complex organization undergoing change. You are analytically sharp, but your greatest strength lies in your ability to communicate financial insights in a way that the entire organization understands and acts upon. As a person, you are pragmatic and solution-oriented. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a humble “can-do” attitude where you see opportunities for improvement rather than obstacles. We are looking for someone who combines strategic insight with operational understanding of retail logic. We Expect You to Have the Following Background and Competence:
- Experience: Extensive experience in qualified controller work, preferably where you have built up or restructured functions, as well as a good understanding of retail and supply chain.
- Education: A degree in economics or finance.
- System Skills: Experience working in data-intensive environments. It is highly meritorious if you are proficient in tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, or Python.
- Change Management: Documented experience in implementing new processes and working methods in larger organizations.
You will step into a role with significant authority to influence how a market-leading player is governed and followed up. You will be part of a culture characterized by commitment, business acumen, and a desire to continuously improve. The position is based at our service office in Tibro. Here lies the heart of our operations, and your physical presence is essential to build networks, understand core processes, and lead change on-site. Location: Tibro Extent: Full-time, permanent.
