E-service Coordinator for Nyköping Municipality

Nyköping is growing and the digitalization of the municipality's operations continues at a rapid pace. To meet the increasing demand for digital welfare services, we are developing a hybrid IT environment where cloud services are combined with deliveries from our own data centers.

Nyköping Municipality aims to provide both residents and employees with a modern, efficient, and user-friendly digital work environment. We are now looking for an engaged and creative e-service coordinator who wants to help develop our digital services together with the operations.

The Position

The position is based in the IT department at the Municipal Executive Office, a central function in the municipality. The IT department is responsible for support, operations, management, and development of the IT environment for both Nyköping and Oxelösund municipalities and has a coordination responsibility for system management, e-learning, and e-services. The employment is primarily a temporary position during parental leave, but there may be a possibility for continued employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an e-service coordinator, you will be part of the Digital Support team, which currently consists of three people. Together, you will work to develop, further develop, and manage e-services for both the municipality's residents and employees.

In this role, you will plan, in close dialogue with colleagues and operations, which e-services should be developed. You will build e-services in the municipality's e-service platform Abou and be responsible, together with the operations, for testing, quality assurance, and launch. After publication, you will continuously work on follow-up, improvements, and further development. The role includes technical aspects related to development, but equally important is your ability to understand the needs of the operations and create good dialogue around digital solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and improve e-services based on the needs of the operations and the expectations of the residents
  • Collaborate with various operations and stakeholders to capture requirements, needs, and improvement suggestions
  • Ensure that e-services are developed according to established standards and best practices
  • Participate in project groups and contribute with expertise and ideas within the e-service area
  • Participate in development initiatives aimed at streamlining and improving the municipality's digital working methods

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a relevant university degree in IT, or other education/experience that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • experience working with information systems and/or information technology
  • good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

It is an advantage if you have:

  • experience in e-service development and/or web development
  • experience in programming
  • experience working in project form

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone with a pedagogical and structured working method, as well as a good ability to plan, prioritize, and organize your work.

You are communicative, responsive to the needs of the operations, and clear in your feedback regarding ongoing work and development progress. You understand the importance of documentation and standardized working methods and prefer to work methodically and with quality assurance.

Furthermore, you have a good ability to analyze needs, evaluate ideas, and translate the wishes of the operations into functional and appropriate e-services.
